School year of 2016/17 has now had some changes; school starts at 8:30, Advisory every Thursday, the delay of after-school actives has gone out of hand. Most students are not for the later start for various amount of reason.. (listed)
-Traffic to get home
-Students arrival time result in tardy attendance
- Extra curricular actives including: Sports, Theater, Dance rehearsals, Music rehearsals and etc....
Speaking with student about this, there is a large amount who do not approve of this because of the consequences, and the fact of still waking up at the same time in the morning. In conclusion students do not have ample time to prep for alternating classes each day/night including not having time to complete homework.
I, Natalie Ben-Ami am asking for your signature on this petition in hopes to see a change. I promise to bring this to whom may be in charge of this matter and raise attention.
